Matthew Victor Pastor is a 29-year-old Australian filmmaker of Filipino heritage and alumnus of the Victorian College of the Arts. Recently IF Magazine called him “Australia’s most prolific filmmaker”, a title accomplished through independently writing/directing six feature films in a timespan of 18 months. Of those films at the 2018 Sinag Maynila Film Festival his feature MELODRAMA / RANDOM / MELBOURNE! was awarded Best Original Score for composer Fergus Cronkite. It also had its Australian premiere at the 2018 Adelaide Film Festival. MAGANDA! Pinoy Boy vs Milk Man is due for it’s World Premiere at 2018 Monster Fest in November. He is also in post-production on 3 more feature films, due to release in the near future. Upcoming projects include directing the AFTRS/Screen Australia talent camp diversity funded short film Fun Times, written by AACTA nominated writer Llewellyn Michael Bates.
