Things aren’t going well for Maria. In the space of one day she’s lost her parents, her dog and her job, and has been brutally assaulted. But everything changes when, in the midst of her misery, she bumps into Tom at a well-known suicide spot. Buoyed by the zing of instant attraction it’s not long before her troubles fade away. However, their blissful romance is violently interrupted when a chainsaw-wielding manic kidnaps Maria, disappearing with her into the woods after leaving Tom for dead. The killer, a hulking mute who only communicates through the revving of his mighty saw, intends to feed her to his twisted family—his domineering mother, his artistically driven little brother, and Pepe and Kevin, his disturbingly amorous cousins.
