Ze Plane! Ze Plane! Ze Murders…Blumhouse’s FANTASY ISLAND Horror Movie!

Remember FANTASY ISLAND, the beloved television series that ran from 1977 to 1984 with Mr. Roarke and Tattoo? Well Blumhouse Productions in association with Sony Pictures have gone and turned it into a HORROR MOVIE from the team behind 2018’s TRUTH OR DARE!

In Blumhouse’s new spin on FANTASY ISLAND, the enigmatic Mr. Roarke (Michael Peña) makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.

Directed by Jeff Wadlow (TRUTH OR DARE), FANTASY ISLAND is written by Wadlow, Christopher Roach (TRUTH OR DARE, NON-STOP) & Jillian Jacobs (TRUTH OR DARE) and is produced by Jason Blum (GET OUT, THE PURGE) and Marc Toberoff (PIRANHA 3DD).

FANTASY ISLAND also stars Maggie Q (SLUMBER), Lucy Hale (TRUTH OR DARE), Austin Stowell (COLOSSAL), Portia Doubleday (CARRIE), Jimmy O. Yang (SILICON VALLEY), Ryan Hansen (VERONICA MARS) and Michael Rooker (HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER).

FANTASY ISLAND will open in Australian cinemas on February 13th 2020.
