FilmInk invites you to the Australian premiere of OBSERVANCE
Having taken the international festival circuit by storm following screenings at the Fantasia Film Festival and London Film Festival, British-born and Australia-based Joseph Sims-Dennett’s intense, trippy and wholly unforgettable thriller is finally being unleashed at home.
In partnership with FilmInk, Monster Fest is giving away 10 Double Passes to the Sydney Premiere on Sunday, 3rd April @ 7pm, followed by a Q&A with the film’s director Joseph Sims-Dennett and co-writer/producer Josh Zammit.
TO WIN: Post an image from the best Australian film you have “observed” in the last five years to our Facebook Page HERE no later than Wednesday March 30th. Winners will be posted on the Monster Fest Facebook page on Thursday March 31, and any entries who are on our Monster newsletter (which you can sign up for HERE) will be notified by email.
“Observance is an experience birthed from a desire to explore my inability to control my own future.” Director Joseph Sims-Dennett
Close to bankruptcy and wracked with grief over the death of his young son, private investigator Parker (Lindsay Farris) returns to work. The brief is simple: watch a young woman, in her apartment and report back. Parker, however, soon starts noticing strange happenings that have him fearing for the safety of the woman – and himself. His anxiety rises and a fever takes hold. In a moment of lucidity, Parker grasps that he’s been planted in the apartment for an ulterior purpose and attempts to leave. But escape proves impossible, his mind and body consumed.
