Danny Boyle’s FRANKENSTEIN To Stream For Free!

Way back in 2011, Danny Boyle (28 DAYS LATER, TRAINSPOTTING) directed a stage production of Mary Shelley’s FRANKENSTEIN in London at the National Theatre. The play saw actors Benedict Cumberbatch (DOCTOR STRANGE) and Jonny Lee Miller (TRAINSPOTTING) alternate between playing Victor Frankenstein and Frankenstein’s Monster.

Now courtesy of the National Theatre, you’ll be able to stream both versions FREE of charge! See Benedict Cumberbatch play the Monster with Jonny Lee Miller as Victor Frankenstein from 7pm (UK time) on Thursday 30 April until 7pm (UK time) on Thursday 7 May.

You catch Jonny Lee Miller play the Monster with Benedict Cumberbatch as Victor Frankenstein from 7pm (UK time) on Friday 1 May until 7pm (UK time) on Friday 8 May.

Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein’s bewildered Creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Urgent concerns of scientific responsibility, parental neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil are embedded within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic gothic tale.
