THE CURED
Similar to the short-run tv series IN THE FLESH, THE CURED deals with an antidote to cure a widespread rage virus and the repercussions of the crimes committed prior to its implantation. Playing as more of a drama with horror elements than a horror film per se, THE CURED is an engaging exploration of crime, punishment and ultimately redemption. For six years, Europe was plagued by a devastating virus that transformed humans into zombie-like monsters. As mankind struggled to control the pandemic, the great hope of a cure was found. Although an unforeseen enemy surfaces in its wake: the past. The cured are haunted with the memories of their actions while infected. As some try to readjust to a world that still fears them, the growing unrest threatens to plunge the world back into chaos.
THOROUGHBREDS
A black comedy that desperately wants to be HEATHERS for millennials but falls short with a keener eye on being cool and clever than simply delivering an adequate non-padded narrative. Childhood friends Lily and Amanda reconnect in suburban Connecticut after years of growing apart. Lily is now a polished, upper-class teenager at a fancy boarding school; Amanda has turned into a sharp-witted outcast with an attitude. Though they seem at odds, the pair bonds over Lily’s contempt for her oppressive stepfather, and they begin to bring out one another’s most destructive tendencies. Their ambitions lead them to hire a local hustler and take matters into their own hands to set their lives straight.
LAKE PLACID: LEGACY
Who would have thought after the crossover with ANACONDA, that the LAKE PLACID franchise would ever see another film!  When a group of young explorers ventures to a mysterious lake, they discover an island harbouring an abandoned lab facility with a horrific legacy: the island is home to a deadly predator. Before they can turn back, the crew gets dragged into a battle for their lives – former enemies will quickly need to put their egos aside and work together if there is any hope for survival.
FUTURE WORLD
James Franco co-directs this apocalyptic stinker with Bruce Thierry Cheung that has the honour of a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In a post-apocalyptic world, where natural resources have long since dried-up, a prince from The Oasis – one of the world’s last known safe-havens – must venture out to find a cure for his dying mother. Along the way he must battle with the brutal Warlord, his lethal AI robot and the demonic Druglord which leads to a high-octane, ferocious journey through the desolate wastelands.
