Monster Fest in partnership with Event Cinemas is pleased to announce that MONSTER FEST TRAVELLING SIDESHOW: APOCALYPSE EDITION will arrive in the Northern Territory at Birch Carroll & Coyle Casuarina from Friday 13th – Sunday 15th November!

The line-up for this edition of the MONSTER FEST TRAVELLING SIDESHOW will consist of the very best of our 2020 MONSTER FEST: WELCOME TO THE APOCALYPSE programming that is currently running in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide & Perth.

Abstract, immersive and unflinchingly brutal, POSSESSOR is the sophomore feature of Brandon Cronenberg (ANTIVIRAL) and is a truly remarkable work of cinema that reaffirms Brandon’s status as a visionary filmmaker. Christopher Abbott (IT COMES AT NIGHT) and Andrea Riseborough (MANDY) give exceptional performances in this sophisticated story of a corporate assassin who may have inhabited the wrong body in which to enact her next mission.
Filmmaker Luke Sparke‘s OCCUPATION RAINFALL is the highly anticipated follow-up to the 2018 sci-fi blockbuster OCCUPATION, that sees Ken Jeong (THE HANGOVER Trilogy) and Daniel Gillies (THE ORIGINALS) join a returning cast that includes Temuera Morrison (AQUAMAN), Dan Ewing (BEAST NO MORE) and Trystan Go (THE FAMILY LAW). Picking up two years after the events of the first film, the war for earth rages on, however the alien invaders are no longer the only threat for mankind’s survival as factions form between survivors. This small-town tale of intergalactic proportions follows two kids who are in possession of a highly coveted magical amulet that allows them the ability to control an ancient alien overlord.
THE ENDLESS filmmakers Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead return with their festival darling SYNCHRONIC, that pits two paramedics (Jamie Dornan, THE FALL and Anthony Mackie, AVENGERS: ENDGAME) at odds with a psychedelic designer drug that allows its users to time travel, mystery flight style, to an unknown destination and time.
SNL comedian David Koechner (CHEAP THRILLS) stars in Cody Callahan‘s eighties throwback comedy-slasher VICIOUS FUN, which follows Joel (Evan Marsh), an unlucky-in-love film critic who gets caught in a serial killers anonymous-type self help group with his unrequited love’s new boyfriend.
