Surprise! ANTEBELLUM Will Open Next Week In Cinemas!

Roadshow Films have just revealed that they will release ANTEBELLUM in Aussie cinemas on October 1st, well everywhere but VIC (obviously). This comes as a huge surprise as just a fortnight ago the film didn’t even have a tentative local release date and now it’s coming out next week, atop of the fact that film has skipped theatres in the United States and headed straight to VOD!

Successful author Veronica Henley finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.

ANTEBELLUM is the terrifying feature debut from filmmaking duo Gerard Bush and Christoper Renz (Bush+Renz), who have produced music videos for the likes of Jay Z and Rico Love.

Written and directed by Bush & Renz, ANTEBELLUM stars Janelle Monáe, Marque Richardson II, Eric Lange, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, Tongayi Chirisa, Gabourey Sidibe, Rob Aramayo, Lily Cowles, and Jena Malone.

ANTEBELLUM opens in Australian cinemas on October 1st 2020.
