Monster Pictures Announce ‘Monster Pictures Studios’

Monster Pictures, have partnered with Head Gear Films and White Hot Productions, to launch Monster Pictures Studios, a full-service genre film studio, designed to deliver bold and distinctive features that speak directly to audiences.

Currently in post-production, SEVEN SNIPERS, will serve as Monster Pictures Studios debut feature, a high-intensity action-thriller, directed by Sandra Sciberras and starring Radha Mitchell, Tim Roth, Ioan Gruffudd and Ryan Kwanten.

SEVEN SNIPERS follows elite sniper Kris “Voodoo Child” Hendricks (Mitchell), who after retiring from her lethal career, takes refuge on a remote Australian farmstead with her rebellious 15-year-old daughter, Anja (Annabel Wolfe). When a vengeful warlord named The Dragon (Roth) tracks her down, she enlists her old team of elite killers to protect them, setting the stage for a brutal showdown.

Upcoming Monster Pictures Studios productions include new work from Aussie horror legends Greg McLean (WOLF CREEK, THE BELKO EXPERIMENT) and Sean Byrne (THE LOVED ONES, DANGEROUS ANIMALS), along with actor Matt Day (WOLF CREEK: THE SERIES, STRIFE) making his feature directorial debut. The production slate also includes several projects with producer Kristian Moliere (THE BABADOOK, WOLF CREEK: LEGACY) brining his genre experience to the table.

Monster Pictures Studios is co-founded by Grant Hardie (Monster Pictures, Monster Fest), Phil Hunt (Head Gear Films), Ian Kirk (White Hot Productions, Roar Digital), Loretta & Robert Kindness (Monster Pictures, Monster Fest).
