BLACK SHEEPS MELBOURNE ADDS MORE GUESTS!
The flock is getting bigger! BLACK SHEEPS writer/director Jonathan King and actress Heather O’Carroll (Colleen) are the latest guests confirmed for the film’s Victorian Premiere at Cinema Nova on Thursday November 12 at 6:50pm!
The pair will join previously announced cast members Joe Witkowski (Frank) and Tabatha Killick (Oats) for a special post-screening Q&A, giving Melbourne audiences the opportunity to hear firsthand about the making of this long-awaited return to New Zealand’s most notorious paddocks.
BLACK SHEEPS returns to the scene of Jonathan King’s original Kiwi cult classic, where a young scientist, convinced that a dangerous new pathogen is threatening New Zealand, follows the trail back to her hometown and the mysterious Glenolden Station. There, she encounters a murderous sheep-worshipping cult, a property developer harbouring a particularly unpleasant secret and a mysterious figure known only as The Shepherd, before finding herself trapped inside the quarantined pastures locals call The Zone.
Along with writer/director Jonathan King, actor Nathan Meister returns as the deeply sheep-phobic Henry Oldfield, while Wētā Workshop is back in the paddock, unleashing a new generation of practical-effects monstrosities.
Fresh from its World Premiere at Sitges and screenings across Monster Fest’s interstate tour, BLACK SHEEPS brings the mayhem to Melbourne for one very special night, with its director and cast in attendance!
New Zealand’s most dangerous livestock have turned the tables – and now it’s Melbourne’s turn in the slaughterhouse!
