Film Noir Classic GUN CRAZY To Screen In Melbourne

Melbourne’s CINEMANIACS are presenting a screening of Joseph H. Lewis‘ film noir classic GUN CRAZY at ACMI on Friday 24 June (7:30pm).

Thieves, lovers and Gun Crazy. Bart Tare (John Dall) has been crazy about firearms since he was a kid. Annie Laurie Star (Peggy Cummins) is the sharp-shooting queen of a traveling carnival. When Bart beats Laurie in a shooting competition, it’s love at first sight. First comes love; then comes robbery; then comes cold-blooded murder in a bank heist.

This screening features a pre-film presentation by Elissa Rose

Melbourne audiences can prepare for a diverse and outstanding 2022 program that includes CREEPSHOW, SQUIRM, BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS and CHILD’S PLAY 2.
