DOLLY clobbers its way onto Australian Cinemas March 12

Monster Fest, in partnership with Independent Film Company and Shudder, and in collaboration with Event Cinemas & Village Cinemas, will unleash the ferocious backwoods horror DOLLY in Australian cinemas on March 12. Shot with gritty ’70s-inspired visceral energy and steeped in the spirit of New French Extremity, DOLLY is the terrifying new slasher from director Rod Blackhurst, following its world premiere at Fantastic Fest to growing buzz among genre fans. 

The film stars Fabianne Therese (John Dies at the End), Seann William Scott (Righteous Gemstones, American Pie), Ethan Suplee (My Name Is Earl, The Wolf of Wall Street) and NWA TV Champion Max the Impaler as the blood-soaked titular menace. In DOLLY, a young woman named Macy is abducted by a deranged, monstrous figure intent on raising her as its own child, setting the stage for a relentless, bloody survival nightmare that nods to classic ’70s horror while pushing the slasher film into wild new territory.
