Cairns genre fans will get a taste of Monster Pictures’ annual Melbourne-based genre film festival MONSTER FEST this December thanks to our continued partnership with Event Cinemas to present MONSTER FEST TRAVELLING SIDESHOW at Event Cinemas Cairns Central on December 8-10th, 2017. With five films over three nights, the festival opens with Travis Bain’s chamber thriller, LANDFALL. The line-up also includes the world premiere of Umbrella Films’ 4K restoration of Russell Mulcahy’s 1984 Australian masterpiece, RAZORBACK; the Queensland Premiere of Daniel Armstrong’s MONSTER FEST 2017 ‘Best Australian Feature’ winner, TARNATION; the Queensland Premiere of Adam MacDonald’s occult horror, PYEWACKET and a 40th anniversary screening of Dario Argento’s SUSPIRIA in 4K.
