Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, PREDATOR 2 will no longer play our MONSTER FEST WEEKENDER dates across Australia.
With that bad news out of the way, we’re psyched to announce that in celebration of its 35th Anniversary, ROBOCOP 2 will now screen in our WEEKENDER line-up, UNCUT and in a stunning new 4K RESTORATION that’s making its Australian big screen debut.
Part Man. Part Machine. Part 2! From THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK director Irvin Kershner, ROBOCOP 2 ups the ante with 75% law, 86% more order and 1000% more bullets! Peter Weller returns as the battle-scarred cyborg-cop, facing off against a psychotic drug lord, a monstrous new Robocop prototype, and the ever-corrupt OCP in a brutal, motor-oil-fueled sequel that pulls no punches and leaves no criminal unpunished.
When Detroit’s descent into chaos is accelerated by a police strike and a new designer drug called “Nuke”, only Robocop (Weller) can stop the mayhem. But in his way are an evil corporation and a bigger and tougher cyborg, Cain (Tom Noonan), containing the latest in gadgetry and weaponry as well as the brain of a madman who designed “Nuke”. Cain also happens to be psychotic and out of control! And it’s going to take everything Robocop has to save Detroit from utter anarchy.
Cinema Nova customers will be contacted with the option of retaining their PREDATOR 2 ticket for direct access to the ROBCOP 2 session or alternatively receive a refund if they don’t wish to attend ROBOCOP 2 while Event Cinemas & Dendy Cinemas customers will have their PREDATOR 2 ticket refunded and will need book a ticket for the ROBOCOP 2 session.
