New Ozploitation Classics Hitting Blu-ray This May
Umbrella Entertainment will add two new titles to their Ozploitation Classics range on May 4, both with an O-ring slipcover, mini lobby cards and a reproduction daybill that is limited to the first 100 pre-orders via Umbrella’s web-store.
THIRST (1979)
Innocent, unsuspecting Kate (Chantel Contouri) is kidnapped by a bloodthirsty cult and held captive at their high security compound – where she discovers that humans are being farmed for their blood! Kate’s shocking destiny is soon revealed. She is to be wed to the cult’s leader in order to create a vampire master race. Can she escape this demonic nightmare – or will she surrender to an unholy, insatiable evil?

THE SURVIVOR (1980)
When a 747 jetliner crashes and explodes, the inferno kills everyone onboard except the pilot (Robert Powell) who miraculously walks away from the wreckage dazed but unscathed. Tortured with guilt and unable to explain the crash, he sets out with the aid of a young psychic (Jenny Agutter) and a priest (Joseph Cotten) to overcome his memory loss and unravel the mystery of the disaster – and in the process, unlocks a nightmare of madness, murder and beyond-the-grave supernatural horror.
