Streaming This Month On SHUDDER

Abstract auteur Quentin Dupieux‘s DEERSKIN is a wonderfully weird and hilarious tale of obsession as a man posing as a filmmaker turns to a life crime in his quest to be the only one in the world to wear a jacket…that’s right a jacket!
COME TO DADDY
From the delightfully warped minds that brought you THE GREASY STRANGLER comes Ant Timpson‘s neo-surrealistic, hilarious and thoroughly engaging COME TO DADDY, an intimate and isolated tale of Norval (Elijah Wood) who travels to a a remote cabin by the seaside to reconnect with his estranged father (Stephen McHattie).

Gabriel Bier Gislason‘s festival darling ATTACHMENT follows Maja is a has-been actress in Denmark who falls in love with Leah, a young, Jewish academic visiting from the UK. When Leah suffers a mysterious seizure, Maja fears their whirlwind romance might be cut short and decides to follow Leah back to her home in London. There, she meets her new downstairs neighbour: Leah’s mother, Chana. An overbearing, seemingly religious and highly secretive woman, Chana is resistant to all of Maja’s attempts to win her over but with increasingly strange occurrences in the building, she begins to suspect that Chana’s secrets could be much darker than she first anticipated.
RENT-A-PAL
EAT cinematographer Jon Stevenson makes his feature directorial debut with RENT-A-PAL, a tale of a lonely guy who finds a friend in the most unlikeliest of places, a VHS tape.
THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT
Monster Fest ‘Golden Monster‘ award-winner, Lars von Trier’s THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT is a disturbing drama that follows the highly intelligent Jack (Matt Dillon) over a span of 12 years and introduces the murders that define Jack’s development as a serial killer. Taking place from Jack’s point of view as he postulates each murder as an artwork in itself. Inevitably as police intervention draws near, he takes greater and greater risks in his attempt to create the ultimate masterwork.

THE WITCH PART 2: THE OTHER ONE
Filmmaker Park Hoon-jung‘s highly anticipated follow-up to his 2018 feature THE WITCH PART 1: THE SUBVERSION, follows a girl who emerges as the sole survivor of a bloody raid on the research facility behind the top-secret Witch Program, she is rescued by a pair of civilians who soon realise that more danger lies ahead.
