In the near dystopian future, lifelong friends, Mac and Fettes, work as undervalued orderlies, when one of them has a brain explosion and decides to sell the organs of a fresh corpse to make a quick buck. Things quickly take a darkly comedic turn when the corpse, Jane Doe, wakes up on the operating table.
