THE UNHOLY Announced For Home Entertainment!
On June 16, Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release THE UNHOLY to Blu-ray, DVD & Digital.
THE UNHOLY is a supernatural horror film based off James Herbert’s novel SHRINE, adapted for the screen and directed by Evan Spiliotopoulos, with the pedigree of being produced by Sam Raimi (EVIL DEAD).
THE UNHOLY follows Alice (Cricket Brown), a young hearing-impaired girl who, after a supposed visitation from the Virgin Mary, is inexplicably able to hear, speak and heal the sick. As word spreads and people from near and far flock to witness her miracles, a disgraced journalist (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, THE WALKING DEAD), hoping to revive his career, visits the small New England town to investigate. When terrifying events begin to happen all around, he starts to question if these phenomena are the works of the Virgin Mary or something more sinister.
Unfortunately neither Blu-ray nor DVD will have any Special Feature content.
