When Are They Coming Out Now?

News broke this weekend of the possibility that HALLOWEEN KILLS may not release this October with producer Jason Blum letting slip “I don’t know how it’s coming out but I’m hoping and still pushing for it to come out still in October” in an interview with ET. With that said we thought we’d compile a list of all the upcoming studio horror films and their current rescheduled local release dates, just be mindful these dates could change if their international release is delayed.

CANDYMAN
For as long as residents can remember, the housing projects of Chicago’s Cabrini Green neighbourhood were terrorised by a word-of-mouth ghost story about a supernatural killer with a hook for a hand, easily summoned by those daring to repeat his name five times into a mirror. In present day, a decade after the last of the Cabrini towers were torn down, visual artist Anthony McCoy (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and his girlfriend, gallery director Brianna Cartwright (Teyonah Parris), move into a luxury loft condo in Cabrini, now gentrified beyond recognition and inhabited by upwardly mobile millennials.

SPIRAL: FROM THE BOOK OF SAW
A sadistic mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in SPIRAL, the terrifying new chapter from the book of SAW. Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the centre of the killer’s morbid game.

So far there are no new release dates for Scott Cooper’s ANTLERS, James Wan’s latest MALIGNANT, PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN with Carey Mulligan and the latest instalment in THE PURGE series, FOREVER PURGE.
